Who blogs anymore?

26 Aug

Hello blogosphere

This is just a first test blog.  I’m just getting the blog set up now, nothing special, but look for some real blogs to roll out at some point in the future.

PS Did anyone blog on Xanga way back in the day?

Nicely written, and obviously the result of some thoughts that have been brewing for awhile. Your thesis statement, that the point of Christianity is love, and your reaction against the objectifying inhumanity of the numbers recruiting game is a clarity much needed in many Christian circles.
I would love to read a reflection on the relationship between Christianity being a religion of love and the process of salvation as an act of becoming. It seems that love between two people, because any other kind of love is not love really, is also not an act of a moment, but a process. It is anything but stagnant and is always fruitful.
Anyway, it is just an idea. I loved this – keep it coming.

Thanks for the comment. I just now realized that apparently I have to approve comments before they show up on the blog, which explains why your comment (or any of the comments) wasn’t showing up. Glad I figured that out.
